Internship Terms & Conditions

Welcome to the Internship Program of Code NexIn.

This program is designed to provide valuable, hands-on experience in real-world professional environments. This document outlines the terms and conditions that govern your participation in this internship program.

1. Program Status & Compensation

  • Voluntary & Unpaid Nature: This internship is strictly voluntary and unpaid, with a primary focus on learning and professional skill development.
  • Non-Employment Status: Interns are not employees of Code NexIn and are not entitled to salary, stipend, or monetary compensation of any kind.
  • No Employment Guarantee: Successful completion of the internship program does not guarantee future employment or permanent position within the organization.

2. Scope of Work & Duration

  • Standard Duration: The standard internship duration is 3 months, with flexibility available up to 6 months based on individual program requirements.
  • Role Definition: Your specific role, responsibilities, and assigned tasks will be clearly defined in your individual Internship Offer Letter.
  • Applicable Departments: This program encompasses various departments including Web Development, App Development, HR, Sales, and other technical units.

3. Working Hours & Task Management

  • Flexible Work Model: The internship follows a flexible, task-based working hour model designed to simulate modern remote work standards.
  • Deadline Compliance: Despite flexible hours, interns are required to meet all assigned deadlines without exception.
  • Reporting Requirements: You must adhere to daily reporting logs, polls, or communication protocols mandated by your department head.

4. Attendance & Leave Policy

  • Minimum Attendance Requirement: A mandatory 70% attendance threshold is required throughout the internship period to qualify for the Certificate of Completion.
  • Abandonment Policy: Any intern absent for more than five (5) consecutive days without prior written approval from their Reporting Manager will be considered to have abandoned the internship, resulting in immediate termination.
  • Leave Approval Process: All leave requests must be submitted in writing and formally approved by your Reporting Manager before the scheduled absence.

5. Confidentiality & Data Security

  • Strict Confidentiality Obligation: Interns must maintain strict confidentiality regarding all company assets and proprietary information.
  • Prohibited Activities: Sharing, distributing, or publicly posting any proprietary code, repositories, client info, APKs, builds, or internal data is strictly prohibited.
  • Consequences: Violation of the confidentiality clause will result in immediate termination and may lead to legal action.

6. Code of Conduct & Disciplinary Action

  • Zero-Tolerance Policy: The organization maintains a zero-tolerance policy for misconduct including plagiarism, submission of fabricated reports, and misuse of official accounts.
  • Progressive Disciplinary Process: 1st Violation (Verbal Warning), 2nd Violation (Written Warning), 3rd Violation (Removal from the Internship Program).
  • Grounds for Immediate Termination: Plagiarism of code/IP, submitting fabricated reports, misuse of accounts, or any confidentiality violation.

7. Early Termination & Notice Period

  • Notice Requirement: Should you decide to leave the program early, you must provide a 10-day prior written notice to both the HR department and your Reporting Manager.
  • Breach Consequences: Leaving without serving the full notice period may result in forfeiture of your Certificate of Completion and potential legal action to recover damages.

8. Certificate of Completion

  • Issuance Eligibility: A Certificate of Completion will be issued upon successful completion of the internship program.
  • Contingency Requirements: Issuance is contingent upon fulfilling the full tenure, maintaining 70% attendance, completing tasks satisfactorily, and maintaining a satisfactory performance record.
